For the past 19 years the people of the Antioch United Methodist Church have gathered on hill located at 41 Tusculum Rd. to sponsor an event that has become a community tradition. The Antioch United Methodist Church Fall Fair is an opportunity for persons of all ages and backgrounds to come together for fun, shopping, food, play, and fellowship, and we want to invite all of our United Methodist brothers and sisters in the region to join us.
Describing our Fall Fair is difficult for there are almost too many things to mention. Here are some of things you will experience if you come:
+A live auction of donated items to the church, including theme baskets created by the people of the church, home made furniture and crafts, and all sorts of other things.
+A silent auction featuring a variety of goods and services.
+A crafts store featuring great crafts and knicknacks for the holidays.
+A Farmer's Market featuring a variety of fresh produce and home-made jams and jellies.
+A Country Store featuring the finest baked goods in all of South Nashville.
+A Flea Market where you can haggle over your new found treasure that was someone else's junk.
+Breakfast in the morning and a barbecue feast beginning at 10:30 a.m.
+A children's midway area featuring inflatables, pony rides, games, and free popcorn.
As a gift to our United Methodist clergy and their staffs, we want to offer you the opportunity to have a meal on us. Please visit www.fallfair.antiochumc.net and click on the link that says TN Conference Clergy to complete a form letting us know that you are coming. We will then e-mail you up to four tickets for the meal. You may also call the church office at (615) 832-6248 to make your reservation for up to four folks.
The proceeds for the AUMC Fall Fair are shared between our conference apportionments, grants for local service ministries, and congregational needs. Last year's proceeds went to help Habitat for Humanity, Community Care Fellowship, The Campus for Human Development, and Rooftop ministries.
We look forward to seeing you on October 7.
